Louis Vuitton X Supreme

The Louis Vuitton x Supreme collection unveiled at Vuitton’s fall and winter 2017.

A few pieces from this breath taking collaboration between French luxury label Louis Vuitton and New York-based streetwear brand Supreme’s capsule collection were officially unveiled at Vuitton’s fall and winter 2017 men’s runway show in Paris in January. Although the collection will officially launch in mid-July, there was a buzz last week when the two brands announced that a few pieces will be available at pop-up shops starting June 30, all around the world. The Louis Vuitton x Supreme collection was made available at pop up locations in Sydney, Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing, Paris, London, Miami and Los Angeles. This was one of the most highly anticipated brand mash-ups of the year. These pop-ups saw huge crowd queuing up to pick up pieces from this collab.

An all over pattern that melds Supreme’s box logo with the Louis Vuitton monogram and quatrefoil design appeared on washed-down Japanese denim jacquard shirts and bandannas. The design was also cropped up on a red-and-white leather jacket and accented the sides of a gleaming white pair of Louis Vuitton sneakers. Accessories include iPhone cases and bottle-opener-shaped keychains and the deep bench of leather goods including card cases, portfolios, wallets, fanny packs and duffel bags in Louis Vuitton’s textured Epi leather, the most eye-catching of which were rendered in Supreme’s familiar white-on-red box logo color combination. The collection is now selling online on digital shopping portal—ebay for insane amounts of money.
