Heidi Klum stripped down to her skivvies in the sixth ad campaign for her namesake lingerie line, Heidi Klum Intimates, which dropped last week.
As one of the most famous former Victoria’s Secret Angels of all time (she had an impressive 13-year run with the lingerie giant), the 44-year-old German-born beauty has worn more bras and underwear than most.
Who better to chat unmentionables with than a woman that knows the importance of what lies beneath? FEMAIL gets the scoop on everything from how to care for your favorite undies to when not to wear them.
Extend the longevity of your favorite set
As a lingerie lover, ‘I match my bra to my underwear everyday,’ said Heidi.
If you have a set that you love and want to extend it’s lifespan, Heidi suggests buying three or four panties to the set. ‘I wash my bra every four days, so it’s a good idea to get different underwear to extend the longevity of the set.’
Opting for a variety of styles like G-Sting, boyfriend and cheeky, are a good way to do this.

Store them correctly
‘My lingerie drawer is color coordinated,’ said Heidi. While storing unmentionables by shade makes it easy to find which style you are looking for, how they are put away is also important.
Fold bras in half and lay each one side by side. This saves space, protect the cups, and allows you to see what you have.
Care for your delicates
While many would suggest hand-washing your bras and underwear, Heidi throws hers in the washing machine.
‘Just put them in a wash net,’ she suggests. ‘Lace is more delicate than blue jeans and needs to be separated.’
To keep bras in the best shape possible, clasp them shut before laundering to prevent straps from coiling and underwire from bending, and resist the urge to wear the same one twice in a row.
If there’s a style that you are particularly fond of, buy more than one and rotate them.
